So the Olympic committee voted down baseball …but they allowed curling? I would ramble on about my feeling regarding this train-wreck of a sport (and I use “sport” loosely) but Adam Hofstetter, over at Sports Illustrated, just about covered it.

I purchased Kalai’s album, Crows Feet, about three years ago, played it, and somehow forgot about it. I rediscovered this forgotten artist a few days ago and have been enchanted with the haunting background riffs and richness of Kalai’s voice. Although Crows Feet falls into the “folk” genre it could easily slide into the “lay-back-and-chill” genre with the likes of Jack Johnson, Xavier Rudd, and Amos Lee.
