I’ve been an Obama supporter since day one (and even said so in the post), and as far as being a “neo conservative” please point me to the post that led you to think this. Ask the guys I work with (very conservative) …I’m NO conservative!

What angered me about Lowery’s comment is that I thought President Obama’s inauguration day was above race baiting.

I really didn’t want to bring up politics on a surf blog (thus the neutrality of the Jack Johnson Post) but felt overcome with the moment during Obama’s inaugural speech that I had to post something political…(I thought it was made pretty clear what side of the political spectrum I sat on…and yes, I was overcome with joy that the Bush administration was FINALLY gone). Lowery’s comments brought me back down to reality that there is still a lot of work ahead to smooth out race relations.

I’m not a racist and I’m not a bigot, and I’m certainly not a bastard (thanks Mom and Dad). The post you commented on was written because of my progressive spirit – not from the lack of.

I’m tired of racist comments, no matter what color people are, and felt that Lowery ended what could of been an epic speech on a low note. His comments regarding the “white man” and for that matter, the “yellow man” are below what the great historical day stood for.

As far as your “We took this country…” comment… I’m sorry, but I didn’t have anything to do with white man’s historic-crimes (neither did my parents, nor their parents). I’m not proud of the racist crimes committed in the past by whites (not that other races are without their own blemishes), but I refuse to spend my life dwelling on crimes I had no part of. Instead, I feel that humanity should grab the “lessons learned” and focus their energy on making this small rock we call the Earth a better place for all races. My daughters are counting on it.

Wow…you even called me a potential slave holder! Slavery is the darkest moment(other than the crimes committed against the Native Americans) in this country’s history. That is perhaps the dirtiest accusation you could make of a person. Next time when you make such accusations make sure you aim them at the right person(s).

Heres the truth if you knew anything of history… The white man has caused more turmoil, death, destruction, and worked in a manner filled with greed and selfishness than any race in history. We took this country by terror from the red man, enslaved the black man and killed a wide poulation for no reason other than skin color. The richest of white men stole the last presidency and the CEO of the number one arms manufactuarer Haliburton was placed as vice president. The past administration then took us to a distractive war killing hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis under a false pretense instead of fighting the real war on terror in afghanistan.

The white man has raped my people and my country. I am of white decent but i was utterly disgusted with the history of my people and the most recent history of the past 8 years.

Its about fuckin time the white man would embrace what is right and if you can’t man up and realize that the white race has and was run by a form of supremacy that has finally been broken by the will and hope of those who believe in what is RIGHT.

From your previous post about Jack Johnsons page I would assume you were a MCCain supporter and if so… Shame on you, you racists biggot bastard.

Im sure if you could you would have slaves and would have been a person who never would give that up… You have no revolutionary or progressive spirit and im sorry but that is the true foundation of this country. Go suck a bag of dicks.
