May 5th – Happy Cinco De Mayo!
Many people mistakenly think that Cinco De Mayo is the celebration of Mexican Independence. However, “5th of May” day actually commemorates the victory of Mexican forces over the French at the Battle of Puebla.
So…call up your closest amigos, pull out the hibachi, fajitas, a few Coronas, and a handful of limes and celebrate the 5th of May like it’s 1999! A Cinco De Mayo – Hurley T-shirt (courtesy of Wind & Wave) will only add to the festivities.
